This is one of the ones that the AutoHot determines when you ‘demand’ hot water. This is one type of activator for the on-demand recirculation system. Other options include wireless motion sensors and wireless push buttons.

Please note, the hardwired pushbutton will slide snugly into a 5/8″ hole. Oftentimes this will be drilled into the front of your cabinet, right by the sink.
