9.30.2009 – EGI is one of thirty-five green companies invited to exhibit their technology in front of the California State Governor, Arnold Shwarzenegger at the Governor’s Global Climate Summit in Los Angeles. Among the attendees: former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair; Nobel Laureate and Chair of the IPCC, Rajendra K. Pachauri; Actor, Harrison Ford; as well as governors from the US and around the world.
9.17.2009 – EGI is nominated by the Alliance to Save Energy for the 2009 Star of Energy Efficiency Award.
8.31.2009 – EGI concludes On-Demand Efficiency Program deliverables for the Southern California Gas Company and Benningfield Group.
6.7.2009 – President Derek Zobrist is invited to speak about the energy monitoring results from the On-Demand Efficiency Program at the American Consortium for an Energy-Efficient Economy 2009 Hot Water Forum–savings averaged 1500 therms per building tested.
